Meet the Founder

Born in Porto Novo, Benin . Samirath Gnabode moved to the United States when she was 15  years old. She grew up wearing African clothes in Benin Republic and fell in love with the various fabrics and prints. She speaks Yoruba, Goun, French and English. Samirath  believes that each fabric  tells the story of a culture . As a result , her mission is to include most African fabrics in all the various styles. As an art enthusiast, she added a decor and accessories section  that showcase the work of  some African artisans.
